When Emma meets a mysterious woman named Maleeka at the beach, they fall in love with each other. They go out together every day and Emma feels like she's in heaven. But one day she discovers her lover's dark secret. Not only is the raven-haired woman not human, she is a mermaid but a cannibalistic one! This explained her violet eyes and strangely pale skin. As pale as Snow White.
Emma then wonders whether Maleeka really loves her or whether she wanted to lure her into her trap to eat her.
